Today have been kind of hectic. I’ve been focusing on my role as webmaster on SIME and been monitoring our Live channel provided by Twingly.
What I came to realize when tweeting later on at the workshops was how powerful a succinct tweet can be in terms of retweet factor. When summing up hashtag, speakers handles and subject in 120 characters, it’s likely that it will be retweet. More likely than the retweet factor of just a cool quote.
If I’m going to work on future conferences I will think more of tweets like a service for the audience that makes it easy for them to retweet, so they both can share what’s happening and spend more focus on what’s happening on stage.

No super-realization really, but I thought I better put this into a blog post before I forget about it. It can actually be put into a tweet.
